Six out of 10 Britons would rather die than exercise

The title says it all. And I am sure this is true for most of the developed world...

Go here to read the article:

So why do we hate exercise so much?

Well sure, we have extremely busy lives -- we scramble all week at work and have no energy in our free time to take care of ourselves.

And making a commitment to workout and tone up our bodies is a really major thing...

But it wasn't always this way...

Up to ten thousand years ago before we invented farming and domesticating the animals -- when we got up -- we had to get the food -- or die.

Simple choices lead to the simple desire to live. But nowadays -- oh come on! If you are hungry -- go to the grocery store -- go to the local eatery.

We are not fighting to survive anymore. Food is plentiful. If you have read my other blog entries or my website, you know I question the kinds of foods we are putting into our bodies.

And I would admit it, if you are not conditioned to exercise, it is really a miserable experience. Not only that, most of us have the wrong idea about exercise. We see lean and mean people jogging by the park or sweating at the club and figure that this is what we have to do to look like them.

Let me tell you a secret -- even those people don't have a clue what they are doing! That's right. Those healthy looking folks probably just got lucky genes in them. So don't follow them!

Get the right book that is going to tell you the truth about exercises and food choices. Do it right, and you will be amazed how easier it is to shape your body and your outlook toward life.
